Project overview
Klarna's growth in Germany was a key thing my team focused on. The goal of this project was to redesign the invoice template to nudge users toward paying via Klarna app and lower the number of SEPA transfers.
Challenge
Our Klarna invoice in Germany did not include all the payment options but had the SEPA form that users could print out. As a result, we nudged users toward using this form by not providing the alternatives. The number of users that used SEPA form or regular bank transfers was too big, and we had to come up with a solution. Also, when users printed this form out, they had problems with proper color shades, so bank machines did not recognize it. So we decided to highlight that this form should be used as a reference only.
Process

Result
We've seen a significant growth of transactions within the app. The errand rate related to the bank trasnfers went down, allowing out customer service team to focus on other things.
